Bank of England cuts interest rates to 1.5pc
Rates now at there lowest ever level.
All time low on interest rates must be a good thing!!
The Bank of England has dropped the interest rate now down to a level never before seen 1.5pc. This is potentially great news for many people as with some home owners seeing a reduction to their mortgage payment (depending on who they are with and the deal they are on).
There still has been a call to reduce the rate down to 0 with some experts anticipating another drop in February.
The Prime Minister has congratulated the Bank of England and claims to be positive about the year ahead.
